Philanthropic couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might be making big bucks for starring in movies, but they're also big givers when it comes to their pet causes.
The Hollywood Reporter got their hands on a 2008 tax return for the couple's Jolie-Pitt foundation. The twosome gave out $6.8 million to charities, via the foundation. That sum is more than double than the amount they handed out in 2007.
Global Health topped the list with a $2 million donation. Pitt's New Orleans reconstruction project, the Make It Right Foundation received $1 million in funds, as did the Human Rights Watch. $500,000 was given to the Armed Services YMCA of the U.S. Army. Keeping it close to home, $50,000 was given to the actor's hometown, Springfield, Missouri Public School.
